Toolbelt Crew
Toolbelt Crew is a proposed cartoon that teaches kids how to build things, and how to take on large projects with the help of parents and friends. Spackle is a pet dog/toolbox that helps the kids with their projects. Spackle is also the first project that kids learn to build.
An animatic of the opening sequence (no sound yet), introduces Spackle and the other characters. The animation is a combination of hands-on methods. The background are tape drawings done in masking tape and painters tape, and Spackle was animated in the simple programming language of Processing. Spackle is sleeping in the garage when he hear's his owner call for help. He rushes off and meets the other characters from the show on the way.
